What? 

Money20/20 Europe is the world's leading networking platform for the global money ecosystem. Hosted in Amsterdam in 2022 (postponed due to Covid), Money 20/20 presented it's usual largest global fintech event, enabling payments and financial services innovation for connected commerce. 

The project's concept? 

BUX aims to demystify the complexity of the financial markets and disrupt the investing experience, meaning that we couldn't miss the chance of attending to this event - which would kick-off early in the morning. 

Waking up is, for most of us, a full process by itself. How many of us do need coffee first? There is nothing better than coffee to wake up - the starting point of this Activation Campaign. So why not start by offering some coffee to the attendants of the event first?

... And well, now that you are awake, isn't it time to Wake up your Savings as well? 

Wake up your Savings was born, a brand-focused campaign aiming to generate awareness and build lasting connections with our target audience and partners of this fintech world. 

Go

How? 

We understood user interaction as key of the engagement. Therefore, after navigating the high seas of creativity, we've elected an QR code as the entrance to our concept.

We've printed a QR Code on the coffee cups that, activated by the user's phone scan, guided the attendant to our landing page. 

Final result? A coffee stand at the entrance of the event and people scanning QR Codes from a cup. 

Campaign goal: Promoting awareness across the Instagram channel by sharing a photo of their BUX coffee cup, adding the hashtag #wakeupyoursavings and tagging @bux.zero.

The design challenges

・Design an innovative landing page, mobile and content focused, assuring the high comfort of the attendant as a mobile-viewer (since all actions would be performed on the mobile phone) and immediate acknowledgement of our key campaign's message; 

・T-shirts... all campaigns deserve t-shirts;

・Design a stencil, to be sprayed on the floor of the surrounding areas - as the event would take place at Rai Amsterdam, a central point of commute and passage of hundreds of people.
